Spearfishing Isla Mujeres

 

       If you are a seasoned spearfisherman with your own gear, a novice with a little bit of experience or a beginner who has never tried spearfishing, Sea Hawk Divers has it all for you! Our team has years of experience bringing people out on the water and coming back with dinner. Depending on your level of experience we tailor the tour accordingly choosing the right equipment and locations for spearfishing in Isla Mujeres. If it's your first time spearfishing we can use the first hour of the tour time to teach you all the basics you will need to know to have an amazing experience.

 

Due to the nature, complexity and low demand for the activity, our spearfishing tours are all private trips and include 1 to 2 experienced guides depending on the necessity.

Duration..................4 hours

Tour capacity..........4 people (up to 6 people capacity with extra charge)

What's included......Normal snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins), wetsuit, gloves, Hawaiian sling/speargun                                               (depending on experience level), weights, water, refreshments and fruit.

Details:

- Meet and greet with guides at the shop and get the necessary gear ready.

- Short briefing on best plan depending on experience and how to use the equipment.

- Head over to the boat, gear setup, briefing and navigate to first location.

- Shallow water practices if needed (free diving techniques and use of equipment underwater for beginners)

- Spearfishing

- Navigate back to Isla Mujeres with catch of the day

 -Guides will filet the fish so you can bring it home or to a restaurant for cooking!

​Safety Measures

 

As a responsible dive shop we have always disinfected all our equipment after each use but we have implemented more safety measures to receive you in a safe environment:

 

• We leave our equipment disinfecting in a special sanitizing liquid.

• We offer brand new mouthpieces (for purchase).

• We have taken (all staff and members) all the required government online courses for a safe return to work.

• We regularly sanitize all our boats.
